We want to apologize to those who have noticed our Facebook page was deactivated fraudulently by meta for the scam cancer org the leukemia and lymphoma society now blood cancer united in their quest to commit more crimes to hide how long Light The Night was up. As you know the Facebook page was first named Light The Night before I decided to move LTN completely off social media when I moved from one state to the next. And like im doing now, created Lights Over America as a second lantern festival company along with lighthouse Water Lantern Festival. You see now instead of just mixing a lot of different types of lantern festivals we created event themed specific company's. Not illegal to do. LLS stole lighthtnightevents.com from Light The Night to hid it's existence so they could file a fraudulent copyright because they're trying to get into the sky lantern business after being banned from releasing hundreds of thousands of balloons and not collecting them.
To attempt to further hide the existence of light the nights length in business they had what appears to be a defunct individual from Venable law firm to contact meta to remove LOA's Facebook page. YET apparently the lights fest's Facebook page was also first named light the night and it still stands now renamed to the lights fest. We've collected up all evidence to fight this and take it directly to trump since harris's husband works for Venable and LTN's website was stolen last December before trump took over. We supported Harris not knowing her husbands law firm were crooks. You live and you learn, now we fight back. We've emailed over the following now for two different lawsuits. We always show proof of what we say.
LLS owns NO copyright to Lights Over America
We want to point out that we have additional proof of targeted harassment of just LOA. If you look at the lights fest Facebook account in page transparency you will see they also first named their Facebook Light The Night. You know what's still up? the lights fest page as you can see below. That shows targeted harassment.
We have sent the two following cease and desist letters to both lls and Venable.

RE: CEASE AND DESIST DEMAND FOR FALSE COPYRIGHT CLAIMS AND WRONGFUL TAKEDOWN OF “LIGHTS OVER AMERICA” FACEBOOK PAGE
To the Legal Department of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society:
This letter serves as a formal demand that The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (“LLS”) immediately cease and desist all actions aimed at the Facebook page and business operations of “Lights Over America,” a sky lantern festival.
It has come to our attention that LLS has filed a copyright infringement claim with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook) against the “Lights Over America” Facebook page, resulting in the removal of our client’s content. This claim is **factually and legally baseless.
1. LLS Has No Copyright in the “Lights Over America” Name.
Copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 102) protects “original works of authorship,” such as literary, artistic, and musical works. It does not protect names, titles, slogans, or short phrases. The United States Copyright Office explicitly states that these items are not subject to copyright protection.
The name “Lights Over America” is a short phrase and a business name. LLS holds no copyright registration for this name and has no valid copyright claim to it. Your organization’s claim of copyright ownership is fundamentally incorrect and constitutes a misuse of the copyright takedown system.
2. Your Actions Constitute a Wrongful Takedown Under the DMCA.
By submitting a copyright claim to Meta for a term you do not own, you have potentially violated Section 512(f) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This section holds a party liable for knowingly materially misrepresenting that content is infringing.
Your false claim has caused tangible harm to the “Lights Over America” business, including lost business opportunities, damage to reputation, and administrative burdens.
DEMANDS:
1. IMMEDIATELY WITHDRAW the fraudulent copyright claim you have filed with Meta against the “Lights Over America” Facebook page.
2. PROVIDE WRITTEN CONFIRMATION to us that this retraction has been completed, and that you will refrain from filing any future claims against “Lights Over America” based on this or any similar invalid grounds.
3. CEASE AND DESIST from all further harassment, interference, and false legal claims against “Lights Over America” and its operations.
You have **ten (10) business days** from the receipt of this letter to comply with these demands. Should you fail to do so, we will pursue all available legal remedies without further notice. This includes, but is not limited to, filing a counter-notification to restore the content, pursuing an action for damages under the DMCA for wrongful takedown, and exploring claims for tortious interference with business relations.
We also want to remind Venable that the owner of Lights Over America has previously consulted with Venable in the past for a domestic violence and stalking matter. You're now going after a previous victim you gave consultation to. Any further attacks and we will go public with the past consultation and your representation of the leukemia and lymphoma society in this matter after, and file a formal complaint with the Bar Association, The Justice System Integrity Division, The Consumer Protection Division.
This is a serious matter. Govern yourself accordingly.
Sincerely,
Lights Over America Legal Team

CEASE AND DESIST DEMAND: Fraudulent Trademark/Copyright Claims & Tortious Interference against LIGHT THE NIGHT and LIGHTS OVER AMERICA
To the Legal Department of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (“LLS”), & Venable LLP:
This letter serves as a formal demand that LLS immediately cease and desist all actions against our clients, the legitimate business entities **“Light The Night”** (a Delaware corporation) and **“Lights Over America LLC”** (a legally formed LLC), and their owner.
1. Statement of Rights and Prior Use**
Our client, “Light The Night,” is a legally incorporated entity in the state of Delaware, established for the purpose of organizing and managing event services, specifically sky lantern festivals. The “Lights Over America” Facebook page was originally created under the name “Light The Night” in early 2018, predating any of LLS’s claims to the name for event-related commerce. This page was later legitimately renamed to “Lights Over America” to reflect the new brand for a separate but related event company.
2. LLS’s Fraudulent and Bad-Faith Conduct**
It has come to our attention that LLS is attempting to secure trademark rights for “Light The Night” for event merchandise and services—a clear foray into commercial activity. To support this application, LLS has engaged in a campaign of concealment and misrepresentation:
Domain Theft & Concealment: LLS has taken control of or otherwise concealed the domain `lightthenightevents.com` to erase the established, prior public presence of the legitimate “Light The Night” event company.
Fraudulent Takedown Notice: LLS knowingly filed a false copyright/trademark infringement claim with Meta Platforms, Inc. to have the “Lights Over America” Facebook page (the original “Light The Night” page) removed. We possess direct evidence from Meta confirming LLS initiated this takedown.
Fraud on the USPTO/U.S. Copyright Office:** The purpose of this takedown was to conceal the true timeline of use. By hiding the fact that a commercial event company named “Light The Night” has been operating since 2018, LLS is attempting to create a false narrative of its own exclusive use, constituting a fraudulent application for intellectual property rights.
3. Legal Violations**
Your actions amount to:
* Common Law Fraud & Misrepresentation: Knowingly making false statements to Meta and potentially to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
* Violation of the Lanham Act: Attempting to register a trademark in bad faith and engaging in unfair competition.
* Abuse of the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)): Knowingly materially misrepresenting that our client's content was infringing.
* Tortious Interference with Business Expectancy: Intentionally damaging the business relationships and prospects of both “Light The Night” and “Lights Over America.”
* Cyberpiracy: Attempting to hide a domain name to prevent a legitimate business from establishing its online presence.
**IMMEDIATE DEMANDS**
1. IMMEDIATELY WITHDRAW the fraudulent copyright/trademark claim filed with Meta against the “Lights Over America” Facebook page.
2. CEASE AND DESIST from any and all efforts to register a trademark for “Light The Night” for event services or merchandise.
3. IMMEDIATELY CEASE all use of the `lightthenightevents.com` domain and transfer it to the legitimate owner, the “Light The Night” Delaware corporation.
4. PROVIDE WRITTEN CONFIRMATION within ten (10) business days that you have complied with these demands and will refrain from all further interference.
Failure to comply will leave us with no alternative but to pursue all available legal remedies. This includes, but is not limited to:
* Filing a formal Notice of Opposition against your trademark application.
* Initiating a federal lawsuit for damages under the Lanham Act, the DMCA, and state laws for unfair competition and tortious interference.
* Filing complaints with the Attorney General offices in Delaware and New York regarding your organization's deceptive and anti-competitive conduct.
* Seeking all available statutory damages, legal fees, and costs.
The evidence of your bad-faith campaign is documented. Govern yourself accordingly.
Sincerely,
On Behalf of Light The Night (Delaware Corp.) and Lights Over America LLC
